Free Webhosting – no ads, nothing
If you happen to have a pretty small website with not too much traffic, I found a hosting company that offers free web hosting for very small sites. There are no ads and you don't get one of those sub-domains. You get to host your own site under your own domain name.
I think this is great for a small blog site or just a personal page. They have paid upgrades as well, which is about $2 a month for 100mb of space. Now that's pretty cheap. Check em out if you (or one of your friends/cousins/relatives keeps nagging to you about setting up a webpage for them) need a free web host.
